This policy applies to all one-off digital downloads (cheat sheets, exam kits, study notes) sold in South African Rand on smartnote.co.za. It explains when refunds are granted and how to request them.
You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if any of the following applies:
If a file issue is fixable, we will send a corrected file free of charge first. If we cannot resolve it quickly, we will process a refund.
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under South African law.

We respond within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, SAST). If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (processing time depends on Stripe and your bank).
Please contact us first so we can resolve the issue or process an eligible refund. If we cannot resolve it, you may approach your bank or card issuer.
Orders are delivered digitally and begin processing immediately, so there is no manual cancellation step. Please use the refund process described above.
Total pricing is shown at checkout before payment. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged and there are no hidden fees.
Purchases grant a personal, non-transferable license. Redistribution, classroom/group sharing, or resale is not permitted. Misuse may lead to access being disabled and the purchase becoming non-refundable.
If we correct a mistake in a file you bought, we will send the corrected version for free. New or expanded editions are treated as new products.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. SmartNote does not store card details on its servers.
