SmartNote provides study notes, cheat sheets, and exam kits for learning support. Content is informational/educational and must be used alongside your own study, classroom instruction, and official school materials.

Academic integrity

Use our materials ethically. Follow your school’s code of conduct and exam rules. Do not use our products to cheat or to obtain an unfair advantage.

No affiliation with exam bodies

SmartNote is independent and not affiliated with the DBE, IEB, Cambridge, or any exam authority. References to curricula (e.g., CAPS) are for orientation only.

No guaranteed results

We do not guarantee grades, exam outcomes, or academic performance. Results depend on your own effort, consistency, and circumstances.

Accuracy & updates

We work hard to keep content accurate and current, but errors may occur. If you spot one, email us. Confirmed mistakes will be corrected and the updated file supplied free to prior buyers of that file. New or expanded editions are treated as new products.

You are responsible for ensuring files work on your device/software, backing up your downloads, and how you use our content.

Liability (caps & exclusions)

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost time, lost academic opportunity, etc.). This disclaimer does not limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct) and does not waive your non-excludable consumer rights.

Intellectual property & acceptable use

All files are licensed for personal use only by the original purchaser. No sharing, redistribution, public posting, classroom/group sharing, resale, bulk scraping, automated downloading, or using our content/data to train AI models. We may disable access for misuse.

Third-party services

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details on our servers. If you have a payment issue, contact us first so we can assist or refund where eligible.

SmartNote may update this page periodically. Continued use of the website or products after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised wording.
